Easter Weekend

We spent Easter with my folks up at their holiday house in Eildon and it was lovely!  The weather was cold in the morning and evenings but warm during the day, and the girls were very well behaved as they always are and didnt get up to much  night time shenannigans, except for Paige waking in the night without a nappy or pyjama pants!

Summer was talking up a storm, calling out for her "Na-ny" and "Nu-nu" (translated as Nanny and Nanu-grandad in Maltese) She had us entertained by chatting our ears off, and I can tell you its a relief to hear her chatting away!  By golly she is even stringing 2 or 3 words now, sheesh!  I cant believe how one day of day care has made her a motor mouth, lol, but anyway, back to Easter.

Friday we had a lovely fish dinner, snapper, prawns and calamari rings, yummy salad and home made chips.  We rarely eat fish at home and that day we O'D'ed on it but its a welcome changed to eating red meat all the time.  The kids didnt eat any so there was more for us.   The following day we headed into town by walk as the annual market was on and we had a bit of a looksee, nothing but junk there, so we left and went to the park so the kids could have a bit of a play.

On Sunday morning my mum organised a mini easter egg hunt for the girls.  Paige didnt seem to be interested but Summer enjoyed finding and picking up the eggs and popping them into her basket!  Between them they have got so many damn chocolates, I have to resist the urge not to eat them!  All in all it was a lovely quiet easter weekend.  We left yesterday after lunch and got home around 3 in the after noon.  I have some pics to share of the girls doing their mini easter egg hunt, enjoy...

They're so darn cute! Has the summer heat left then Danni? It's spring here so I assume you are beginning to feel autumn there now.

Lovin' the new look blog, so rich and red. So glad you had a great weekend. I just love the girls PJs too. Funny how little ones just suddenly start talking like that.

They look so cute in those outfits! Glad you had a relaxing Easter with your folks, and how awesome that Miss Summer is chatting away, she must sound adorable! I'm guessing our weather is about the same right now with us going into Spring and you with Fall. Love the chilly mornings & evenings, and the pleasant warm-ups in the afternoon :D
